Overview
Al-Anon (for families of alcoholics) and Nar-Anon (for families of drug addicts) are peer support fellowships based on the 12-step model. They provide a safe space for loved ones to share experiences, learn healthy boundaries, and find support — regardless of whether the addicted person is in treatment.
Support groups are a powerful part of recovery.
Many people also benefit from professional treatment alongside peer support. Not sure what you need?
